World oldest actor dies

American actor Norman Lloyd died Tuesday at the age of 106 at his home in Los Angeles, California. This was announced by Variety magazine with reference to producer Dean Hargrove, Tass.ru reports.
Lloyd was the oldest active actor in the industry, according to the specialized Internet resource oldest.org.
As noted by Variety, until the last days of his life, the actor participated in the jury of various competitions, festivals and shows.
Born November 8, 1914, Lloyd's career began in the 1930s in New York. During his life, the actor starred in more than 60 films and television shows. As a producer, in 1970 Lloyd was nominated for an Emmy television award for The Name of the Game serial (1968-1971).
