Over 300 injured, 20 killed in Pakistan earthquake
As a result of the earthquake in the south of Pakistan 20 people died, more than 300 were injured, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to Tass.ru.
According to the local disaster management department, tremors were felt in Quetta, Sibbi, Pishin, Chaman and several other cities in Baluchistan province.
The authorities are assessing the damage caused by the natural disaster. The provincial administrative buildings were reported to have been destroyed.
On Thursday night, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center reported on an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7, which occurred in Pakistan. The epicenter was located 102 km northeast of the city Quetta (population - about 733 thousand people). The source of the earthquake lay at a depth of 10 km.
