More than 200 Kazakhstanis will be able to study free of charge at the leading universities of Hungary, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This became possible thanks to agreements between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Human Resources of Hungary, the department explained.
"Our compatriots will study under the scholarship program " Stipendium Hungaricum ". The list was approved by the Hungarian side, based on the level of motivation and awareness of the choice of a specialty by applicants, the level of their theoretical knowledge and achievements in studies or in the field of the chosen profession. Personal qualities of candidates were also taken into account during the interview", - said Daniyar Mukitanov, the acting president of the Center for International Programs of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The fellows will study in Hungary for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs at the expense of the host country.
It is noted that the Hungarian side also drew up a reserve list, which included more than 70 people. The list of all applicants is published on the official website of the Center for International Programs.
