Kazakh military doctors provide medical care to patients in medical institutions in Beirut, Bouar, Mashgar and Sayda in Lebanon, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"From the first days of their work, the military doctors of Kazakhstan have provided medical care to hundreds of Lebanese citizens. Medical care is provided on the basis of a military hospital and municipal hospitals together with Lebanese doctors. Among those who applied there are patients who were in the zone of impact of the blast wave as a result of the detonation of ammonium nitrate. Kazakhstani doctors are involved in the treatment of surgical, traumatological and therapeutic patients. They take an active part in the work of intensive care and anesthesiology departments, in carrying out surgical interventions, including high-tech services, for example, endoprosthetics. In addition, the military doctors organized the work of a first-aid post to receive and provide assistance to outpatients", - the message says.
It is noted that the work of Kazakhstani doctors is organized in compliance with strict sanitary and hygienic requirements.
Recall, on August 4, a powerful explosion took place near the port of Beirut, killing at least 150 people. About five thousand people were injured, but not all of them can receive treatment in a hospital, as hospitals are overcrowded.
At the instruction of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, highly qualified military surgeons, traumatologists, neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists-resuscitators, as well as nursing staff of a surgical profile were sent to Lebanon. Most of them speak English.
