Unified platform of Internet resources of state bodies to be launched before the year end in RK

By the end of the year, Kazakhstan will launch a unified platform of Internet resources of state bodies. This was announced by Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumagaliev at a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz reports.
"The next major project is the Unified platform of Internet resources of state bodies. This platform will save up to 2 billion tenge of budget funds. It is planned to launch it before the end of the year, preparatory work is being carried out by the ministries of foreign affairs, internal affairs, defense, justice and the National Security Committee, for other ministries it is necessary to speed up this work," Zhumagaliev said.
According to him, for the effective implementation of this project a draft law "On provision of public services" has been developed.
“The law provides for amendments to 6 codes and 41 laws. As a result of the measures announced next year, the digital literacy rate of the population will increase to 80 percent. Public services will be provided quickly and efficiently,” he added.
The Minister also noted that according to the results of 2018, Kazakhstan took 39th place in the UN ranking on the e-government development index (8th in Asia), as well as 26th in the online service indicator.
"For the effective implementation of advanced technologies, "digital" vice-ministers have been appointed in 5 ministries: health, education, social and labor sphere, digital development and tax and customs service. In addition, digitalization offices have been formed in central and local state bodies," - said Askar Zhumagaliev.
According to him, the economic effect of the work carried out amounted to 218 billion tenge in 2018, and for 9 months of 2019 - 305 billion tenge. At present, it is planned to appoint 3 more "digital" vice ministers: in the ministries of industry and infrastructure development, energy and the interior.
