At the Regional Communication Service of Almaty city, the heads of the Digitalization Department and the Singaporean company CrimsonLogic PTE Ltd signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the development of smart city projects, refers to the RCS of Almaty reporting.

CrimsonLogic PTE Ltd and the Almaty Digitalization Department plan to focus on the digital transformation of the metropolis and creation of a comfortable urban environment.

It should be noted that the first cooperation project was the "Unified data warehouse of the city of Almaty". Its development strategy is in line with Singapore's Citizen 360˚ model, one of the most advanced in the world, in which good data management allows data to "run" after the person, not the person after the data.

"The main idea of launching the Unified Data Warehouse is that with its help government agencies, commercial and academic organizations will be able to exchange depersonalized data," said Bayan Konirbayev, head of the Almaty Digitalization Department. “We will be glad to cooperate with a company from Singapore and are confident that it will open up new prospects for the development of smart city projects,” he added.

In turn, the vice-president of CrimsonLogic, Wee Tan Yeong, expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation will accelerate the process of introducing innovations and help make the city of Almaty more comfortable for the life and work of its citizens. He shared his experience in implementing digital technologies in Singapore.

Regional Director of CrimsonLogic for Central Asia, Alua Satybaldieva, noted that the Digitalization Department of Almaty follows the path of Singapore, and detailed on various platforms that have been showing their effect for about 30 years.
