Director of the Digital Solutions department of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, Bekbolat Moldabekov, explained the reason for malfunction in the Ashyq application, Kazpravda.kz reports.
There were technical problems with the application on May 20.
"We had technical problems. This is due to the fact that we fully transferred Ashyq to the servers of the national IT operator NIT JSC. All the problems have been fixed," Moldabekov said during a press tour in the capital’s airport.
According to him, the application is actively used by 1 million 600 thousand people.
“It should also be said here that there was a large influx of people, therefore, as a result of the load, some technical errors arose. The number of users is growing fast. But now, since we have transferred the system to the national operator’s servers, Ashyq will be able to withstand heavy loads. We think that from today there will be no such problems. Plus, there are other alternatives for the system to work normally,” Moldabekov added.
