Free walking tours with audio guides available in Astana

Special stations are located in two places - in front of the shopping center "Khan Shatyr" and on the square in front of the monument "Baiterek".

Astana has launched a project of free walking tours, during which tourists can get all necessary information about the main sights of the city thanks to the audio guides, reports referring to the city administration site.

Everyone can take an audio guide and a map-guide, leaving 5,000 tenge pledged. After the tour, the money is returned. This can be done from 10 am to 10 pm. While walking you can get information about the trade-entertainment center "Khan Shatyr", Valentine Park, "Kazmedia center" and other objects of the capital. The information is provided in four languages: Kazakh, Russian, English, and Chinese.

The project was launched on 20 June. Free tours are popular among foreign visitors, and Kazakhstanis from other cities.
