Electronic registration certificate for real estate can now be obtained in Kazakhstan

An electronic technical passport for real estate can now be obtained in Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the State Corporation "Government for Citizens" NJSC.
"Since November last year, only residents of the capital and Shymkent have had such an opportunity. Now the Government for Citizens state corporation, together with the National Information Technologies JSC, has implemented this state service on the egov.kz electronic government portal for residents of all regions of Kazakhstan. The new service will allow Kazakhstanis receive a registration certificate for real estate online, without visiting the public service center," the message says.
To obtain an electronic registration certificate on the e-government portal, you must enter the "Real estate" section and select the service "Submission of an electronic application for a technical passport of a property". Having made an online request, the owners of apartments, dorm rooms, individual garages and summer cottages need to attach the documents specified in the list.
The term for producing the document depends on the type of building. Based on the results of the technical examination, the technical passport for an apartment or a dorm room is issued on the third working day, for an individual garage or summer cottage – on the 5th working days.
The electronic registration certificate will contain the same data that is issued in public service centers with seals and signatures. The electronic analogue will be confirmed by the EDS of the employees who were involved in the provision of public services.
By the way, during the pilot project in Nur-Sultan and Shymkent, more than 12 thousand citizens received new electronic technical passports.
