Astana Hub hosted a presentation of the autumn digital novelties, including the updated eGov mobile application, bots for receiving services on social networks, etc., Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Opening the event, Askar Zhumagaliev, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, named 3 main digital events of the beginning of autumn in the public services. It is launch of the new eGov mobile application, cancellation of address certificates and the SMS service of the Ministry of Finance on notification of upcoming tax payments.
“Today we make a big emphasis on mobile rendering of state services, because almost everyone has a smartphone. Therefore, when work began on updating the eGov mobile application, I asked my colleagues to make sure that their mothers can use the mobile application,” Askar Zhumagaliev said.
According to the minister, using the new application you can receive services in almost one click. Beta versions of the updated eGov mobile application will soon be available on PlayMarket and AppStore. With its help, it will be possible to get 23 services, apply for an electronic digital signature, and even extend its validity.
Public services on social networks were also detailed on at the presentation. After the popularity of the eGov-bot in Telegram, the services of which were used by more than 650 thousand Kazakhstanis, similar services were launched on Facebook and VKontakte. Now right in social networks you can get the 15 most popular inquiries and services.
In turn, the head of the “Government for Citizens” Asemgul Baltasheva said that in the near future even more services will become proactive, that is, all that citizens have to do is reply to the SMS notification.
Vice Minister of Finance Ruslan Ensebaev also spoke about the digital news of the fall, the launched SMS service, which will notify Kazakhstanis registered in the mobile citizens database of upcoming tax payments.
