Anti-aircraft missile system tested in Kazakhstan

Control tests of S-300 anti-aircraft missile system were carried out at the Saryshagan training range under the leadership of the Air Force Commander, Major General Kairat Sadykov, Kazpravda.kz cites Kazakhstan Defense Ministry’s press service reporting.
The tests were carried out as part of the Plan for the re-equipment of the hardware of the air defense forces and were organized in order to check the functioning of all systems and parameters that determine the combat readiness of this complex.
Earlier, the S-300 overhaul was carried out on the basis of domestic enterprise - the special design and technological bureau Granit, which specializes in the repair and maintenance of air defense systems. Over the past 7 years, the enterprise has carried out overhauls of 11 such complexes.
According to the results of acceptance tests, the anti-aircraft missile system is ready for operation and will now be used for its intended purpose.
