Sadriddin Akhmedov to fight for WBC title in Almaty
Kazakhstani boxer Sadriddin Akhmedov announced his eighth bout in the professional ring, which will be held on March 24 as part of a boxing evening at the Almaty Arena in Almaty, Kazpravda.kz reports.
“I invite all of you to watch a real Kazakh boxing,” wrote Akhmedov on his Instagram page.
He noted that the WBC Asia champion title will be on the line. However, his rival is not yet known.
At the end of January, the young athlete won his seventh fight in pro-ring. In Montreal (Canada), his rival was a 22-year-old Mexican Abraham Juarez, nicknamed "Pitbull". The vacant WBC world champion junior middleweight title was on the line.
