Punishment awaits Kazakhstan athletes for violating anti-doping rules
During the plenary session in Majilis, the Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan, Arystanbek Mukhamediuly, told what punishment can await our athletes for breaking anti-doping rules, correspondent reports.

"For the use of doping, they face disqualification, refund of cash reward, deprivation of sports pension, monthly allowance to athletes, coaches and club leaders, deprivation of compensation payments to members of the national teams for sports injuries, deprivation of sports titles, " - Mukhamediuly listed.

In addition, they may be stripped of previously given accommodation to champions and prize-winners of the Olympics, Paralympics and Deaflympics.

3000 biosamples are collected annually by the National Anti-Doping Center. Basing on their tests, in 2017, 27 positive samples were identified in 15 sports, in 2018 - 45 positive samples in 17 sports, in 2019 500 samples were taken, of which 5 were positive in 5 sports (biathlon, women's wrestling, cycling, MMA, canoe).
