Procedure for giving out housing at local budgets expense to Olympic and Paralympic winners proposed

Kazakhstan has proposed a procedure for giving out housing at the expense of local budgets to the winners of the Olympic, Paralympic and Deaflympic Games. The relevant amendments on issues of physical education and sports were approved at the plenary session in Majilis in the second reading, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.
Amendments were also introduced to improve the anti-doping policy of the state. The legal mechanism for the disqualification of athletes, coaches and other involved persons for breaking anti-doping rules, sports ethics or norms approved by international sports organizations and republican accredited sports federations is regulated.
In particular, in order to penalize anti-doping rule violation, the legislative amendments finalized and clarified the legal grounds for depriving of sports category and qualification for athletes, coaches and other related subjects.
