Kazakhstan’s third boxer reached youth Olympics finals
Kazakhstan boxer Aybek Oralbay reached the finals of the 2018 Youth Olympics in Argentina's Buenos Aires, Vesti.kz reports.
In the semi-finals of 91 kg weight, Oralbay won in the fight with Alvin Canales from Puerto Rico by the judges’ unanimous decision.
As noted, this year the 18-year-old Oralbay became the Asian youth champion, and at the World Cup reached the finals.
Earlier, Kazakhstani heavyweight Damir Toibay and Talgat Shaiken, who knocked out his rival, made it to the finals, and Nadezhda Ryabets (75 kg) will compete for the bronze in the Youth Olympics finals.
