Kazakhstan youth team started with victory in Euro-2021 qualifier
Kazakhstan youth football team (under 21) started with victory over the Faroe Islands team in the Euro-2021 qualifying round, Vesti.kz reports.
The game was held in Toftir and ended with the score 3: 1 in favor of the guests. Kazakhstanis went ahead already in the second minute.
In the next match, the national team of Kazakhstan plays with Montenegro on the night of June 11 to 12 at 00:30 Nur-Sultana time.
The qualifying round will be completed in October 2020.
The match with the Faroe Islands became the official debut of the head coach of the youth team of Kazakhstan Alexander Moskalenko. Previously, the 42-year-old ex-footballer worked as an assistant in Astana and Kaisar, and independently headed the Bulat from Temirtau.
