Kazakhstan won three medals at Asian Weightlifting Championships

The national team of Kazakhstan completed the Asian Weightlifting Championships with three bronze medals, Vesti.kz reports.
On the last day of the tournament in Ningbo, China, Selimkhan Abubakirov took the sixth place, lifting 400 (180 +220) kilograms.
Aizada Muptilda with the result of 248 (108 + 140) kilograms was the seventh.
Arly Chontey (up to 55 kilograms), Denis Ulanov (up to 81) and Raushan Meshitkhanova (up to 81) won three “bronzes”.
Ilya Ilyin (up to 96), Zulfiya Chinshanlo (up to 55) and Karina Goricheva (up to 64) also took part in the contest, but they did not take awards, and the Rio 2016 Olympic champion Nizat Rakhimov (up to 89) left the tournament.
Note that Asian Weightlifting Championships -2019 was one of the qualifying contests for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
