Kazakhstan team won 17 medals in World hand-to-hand fight championship

In St. Petersburg (Russian Federation), the World Hand-to-Hand Fight Championship has ended, in which Kazakhstan national team won 17 awards, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of Kazakhstan’s Defense Ministry.
More than 240 athletes from 27 countries took part in the competition. Kazakhstan team won second place in the team event: 4 gold, 5 silver and 8 bronze medals, a significantly higher result than in previous championships.
Besides, Major E.Tusupkhanov, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was recognized as the best judge in the championship.
The competition was held under the auspices of the International Federation of hand-to-hand combat.
