Kazakhstan receives 10 licenses for Tokyo summer Olympics

To date, Kazakhstan has received 10 licenses for the 2020 Summer Olympics, which will be held in Tokyo. This was announced at a press conference at the Central Communications Service by the Minister of Culture and Sports Aktoty Raimkulova, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.
"Kazakhstan received licenses in: athletics - Georgy Sheiko, Olga Rypakova, cycling - Evgeny Gidich, 2 licenses in swimming - Dmitry Balandin, Vitaliy Khudyakov, archery - Sanzhar Musaev, Denis Gankin and Ilfat Abdullin. We’re getting ready, all the athletes are set to win,” the minister said.
In turn, the chairman of the Ministry’s Committee on Sports and Physical Culture, Serik Sapiev, added that preparations for the 2020 Olympics are going according to plan.
According to the organizers, the upcoming Olympics will be the most innovative ever held. 339 sets of medals in 33 sports will be played. Five new sports are included in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics program: baseball / softball, karate, surfing, rock climbing and skateboarding.
