Kazakhstan judokas rose in world rating

Kazakhstan judokas improved their positions in the updated world rating, Kazpravda.kz reports.

According to the press service of the judo federation of Kazakhstan, on March 11 the International Judo Federation updated the judo ranking after the world stage of the Grand Prix in judo, held in Morocco from March 8 to 10.

Silver medalist of the tournament Yerasyl Kazhybayev (+100 kg) rose from 51 to 27th place, bronze medalist Yerlan Serikzhanov (-66 kg) rose from 11th position to 8th.

March 8-11 in Morocco, the city of Marakkesh, Kazakhstani judo wrestlers took the 15th place in the team event among 67 countries, winning 1 silver and 1 bronze.
