Kazakhstan hockey club first won Continental Cup

Kazakhstan hockey champion Arlan from Kokshetau won the Continental Cup, reports.

The Super Final took place in Northern Ireland. In the first match Arlan defeated the Polish club Katowice with 4: 2 score, then the Belarusian Gomel club - 8: 2, and in the last match beat the hosts - Belfast Giants - 3: 2.

With eight points, one point ahead of the Belfast Giants, Arlan won the first place. Katowice became third with three points, and Gomel lost all three matches and closed the table.

Arlan is first Kazakhstan's club to win the Continental Cup. Last season, Nomad took the second place, and in 2017 - Beybarys. Once Kazakhstan team won bronze - Ust-Kamenogorsk Torpedo in 2008, when the Russian Ak Bars won.
