Golovkin announced a fight for three world champion titles
IBF / IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (41-1-1, 36 KOs) officially announced the fight with the holder of the WBA Super title in the same weight category Ryota Murata (16-2, 13 KOs), Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to Sports.kz.
In his social networks, Gennady published a poster for the upcoming event, which will be held on Wednesday, December 29, in Saitama (Japan) and will be broadcast by the DAZN streaming service.
“Big Drama in Japan. See you on December 29th,” wrote GGG.
Note that for both boxers, the upcoming fight will be the first after a long downtime: Golovkin has not entered the ring since December last year, and Murata has not boxed since the end of 2019.
