Ertis football club director convicted
The director of the Pavlodar football club Ertis was convicted. He was accused of tax evasion, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Financial Monitoring Agency.
It is reported that the Department of Economic Investigations in Pavlodar region previously completed the investigation of a criminal case against the Public Fund "Football Club "ERTIS" on the fact of tax evasion.
"The investigation established that in 2019 the director of the football club submitted declarations to the tax authority with distorted data. Thus, he caused damage to the state in the amount of over 193 million tenge in the form of unpaid taxes. The director of the club was sentenced to 1 year with deprivation of the right to occupy leading positions in financial and commercial organizations for 3 years," the message says.
The Financial Monitoring Agency reminds that criminal liability is provided for evasion of taxes and other obligatory payments to the budget.
