Balandin won gold in open swimming championship in the USA
The US Open Swimming Championship kicked off in Atlanta. Kazakhstani swimmers Dmitry Balandin and Adilbek Musin take part in the tournament, Olympic.kz reports.
Thus, the champion of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro-2016 Balandin finished first at a distance of 100 meters breaststroke. His time was 59.36.
Silver medal went to the American Andrew Wilsson (59.54). Bronze medal was awarded to another swimmer from the United States, Cody Miller (59.92).
