Alexander Ten from Almaty became champion of Asia in triathlon

The third day of the Asian Triathlon Championship in Gyeongju (South Korea) ended. Almaty resident Alexander Ten won the gold medal of the championship in the super sprint (400 m of swimming, 10 km of cycling race and 2.5 km of running), Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation.
The Asian triathlon championship is over. The national team of Kazakhstan has got two gold medals - Daryn Konysbayev and Alexander Ten, two bronze medals - Arina Shulgina and Meirlan Iskakov.
Kazakhstan took the second place in the unofficial team medal standings.
