Alexander Koreshkov appointed president of Barys HC
Known in the past hockey player replaced Nurlan Orazbayev in this position.
Barys hockey club has a new leader: Alexander Koreshkov was appointed its president, Kazpravda.kz correspondent refers to the club’s site reporting.
Reportedly, the contract with Nurlan Orazbayev was terminated ahead of time on the decision of the corporate social projects fund under Kazakhstan Temir Joly national company- the sole founder of the Barys hockey club.
Alexander Koreshkov played for Ust-Kamenogorsk "Torpedo", "Metallurg" (Magnitogorsk), "Sibir", "Severstal", "Mechel", previously worked in the Ice Hockey Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where he headed the department for the development of junior hockey. He also played for the national team of Kazakhstan in nine world championships and two Olympic Games.
