17-yr-old Kazakhstan girl became Asian chess champion
Kazakhstan chess player Bibisara Asaubayeva won the Asian Women's Online Championship, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the official website of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation.
The Kazakhstan Chess Federation congratulated the chess player, international master Bibisara Asaubayeva on her victory in the online Asian Chess Championship among women.
The tournament was held from 23 to 25 August 2021 on the Tornelo gaming platform, with 74 players from 15 Asian countries taking part.
“Bibisara won the right to participate in the FIDE Women`s Grand Swiss 2021 tournament, which will be held from October 25 to November 8, 2021 in Riga (Latvia). This tournament is part of the qualifying cycle for the 2021–2023 World Cup. The tournament will be held on the Swiss system with 11 rounds, in which 50 outstanding female chess players of the world will take part, ”the KCF said.
