If 300 000 residents of the capital receive the coronavirus vaccine, the incidence rate will decline, Kazpravda.kz refers to the press service of Nur-Sultan akimat, quoting the head of the city's public health department Timur Muratov as saying.
"Today, people are vaccinated in more than 100 points in the city, more than 5 000 people a day are vaccinated. 49 000 people have been vaccinated with the first component. Thus, it will make 50 000 immunized people by May 1. We can also come to labor teams to vaccinate the personnel on the spot, "Muratov informed.
He also recalled that in addition to polyclinics, vaccination of the population is carried out in the Mega Silk Way mall. In the near future, such points will be opened in Khan Shatyr and Keruen malls.
“Every year 130 000 residents are vaccinated against influenza, thus, in winter we do not have a flu epidemic; we keep this situation under control. We will vaccinate thousands of townspeople, so that there is no one to infect, "the head of the city health department emphasized.
Bahiyar Maken instructed the concerned interested government agencies to carry out active public outreach on mass vaccination against CVI, including in large, organized labor teams.
