Two-year-old girl remains in coma after dental treatment

At a briefing in Nur-Sultan, The head of the Committee for Quality and Safety Control of Goods and Services of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan, Lyudmila Byurabekova, commented on the condition of the two-year-old girl who had fallen into a coma after a visit to a private dentistry, correspondent reports.

"The treatment continues in the same volume as it was. There is no dynamics. Condition is at the same level -
critical but stable. She is in coma," Byurabekova said.

As part of the criminal case, an assessment is being made of the quality of the medical care provided in the dentistry, as well as inspection of those medical organizations where the girl was treated after the complications, she added.

It was earlier reported that a resident of the capital Anastasia Zelenaya had published a post in the group “Astana, I want to praise / complain”, where she said that her daughter, 2.5 years old, fell into a coma after visiting a dental clinic. Later, Minister of Health Yelzhan Birtanov held a consultation at the City Children's Hospital No. 2.

Anastasia Zelenaya said that no one cared about the child until her post appeared on Facebook.
