Tsoi stated continued growth of COVID-19 incidence
Growth in coronavirus incidence continues in Almaty, Nur-Sultan, Shymkent, Aktobe and Almaty regions, Kazpravda.kz quotes the Minister of Health, Alexei Tsoi, as saying at the CCS briefing.
The minister said that as of April 7, 258 917 people tested positive for COVID-19 and 50 955 tested negative in the country. 228 089 patients with CVI + and 49 290 with CVI- recovered.
According to the minister, the incidence continues to grow in Almaty, Nur-Sultan, Shymkent, Aktobe and Almaty regions.
"Residents of Almaty, Nur-Sultan and Almaty region account for 63% of the total morbidity. In Almaty, the registration of cases increased from 100 per day in February to 600 cases per day in April. In Nur-Sultan, the number of cases increased from 100 per day in February to 500 cases per day in April. In Almaty region - from 70 cases in February to 270 cases per day in April, "Tsoi stated.
