Tokayev appoints deputy defense ministers

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has appointed deputy defense ministers, refers to the Akorda press service reporting.

"By the orders of the President: Daryn Tuyakov was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Mukhamedzhan Talasov was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan," it is informed.

Daryn Tuyakov graduated from the Andropov Leningrad Higher Military-Political School of Air Defense with a degree in Military-Political Air Defense, as well as the Al-Farabi Kazakh State National University, the International Academy of Business with a degree in Law, is Master of Business Administration.

He was vice minister of information and communications. Prior to this appointment, he held the post of Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Mukhamedzhan Talasov was born on April 26, 1967 in Kyzyl-Orda region, graduated from the Leningrad Higher Military Civil Engineering School in 1989, the Kazakh State Law Academy in 2001, the Central Asian University in 2006, the Higher Academic Courses at the National Defense University in 2013. In 2018, he graduated from the master's program at the National Defense University, in the same year enrolled in the doctoral program.

In 1989 -2007, he served in various senior positions of the Defense Ministry of Kazakhstan.

Since November 2019 he held the position of Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
