Six schoolchildren contracted coronavirus in Nur-Sultan

In Nur-Sultan, 6 schoolchildren have contracted coronavirus infection since the beginning of the school year. This was reported by the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the capital Zhanna Pralieva during an online briefing at the akimat, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.
"Since the beginning of the school year, a total of six cases of coronavirus among schoolchildren have been registered. In one case the child attended school; the other five were on distance learning. In the identified cases, the contacts were examined - all of them had negative results. These are 19 people, 6 of them are teachers and 13 children", - said the speaker.
According to her, the school was disinfected, children and teachers were in home quarantine, and now they have started classes.
She also noted that to date, no cases of coronavirus infection have been registered among school teachers.
