Seven barges tore from anchors off Caspian eastern coast

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, seven barges tore from the anchor barrel near the port of Bautino in the Tyub-Karagan Bay, Kazpravda.kz refers to the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan reporting.
"Approximate time - 03:00 am on February 26. Strong wind, as well as receding ice provoked the withdrawal of barges. Now the barges are drifting towards the island of Kulaly, north of the port of Bautino. A tug has already been sent for their return," the Ministry said.
There are no casualties, no threat to the navigation safety, and no water pollution either.
