Nurlan Sauranbayev heads "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy"

By the decision of the Board of NWF Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Nurlan Sauranbayev was appointed to the post of chairman of the board of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy National Company JSC, reports citing the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Nurlan Sauranbayev was born in 1967 in Dzhambul, graduated from the Kazakh State University named after S.M. Kirov, Oil Industry Training Center (Italy). By profession, he is an economist, master of oil administration.

He began his career in 1991 as the head of a private commercial company, where he worked until 1997.

In 1997-1998 - Executive Director of the Congress of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 1998-2000 - Director of the Department of the RSE "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy".

In 2000-2002 - First Vice-President, General Manager, Head of the Group for Management of the Reconstruction Project of Atyrau Oil Refinery OJSC, NOC Kazakhoil CJSC.

In 2002-2004 - Director of the Department of Engineering and Service Projects of CJSC NC KazMunayGas.

In 2004-2007 - General Director of TenizService LLP.

In 2007-2010 - managing director of the joint stock company NC KazMunayGas.

In 2010-2011 - advisor to the deputy chairman of the Management Board, Managing Director of Samruk-Kazyna NWF JSC.

In 2011-2014 - Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies.

In 2014-2016 - Deputy Minister of Defense.

In 2016-2017 - Head of the Organizing Committee of the Headquarters for preparation and holding of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017.

In 2017-2018 - akim of Shymkent.

From 2019 to the present - Head of the Department of State Control and Organizational and Territorial Work of the Presidential Administration.
