Number of schools with three-shift education in Nur-Sultan will decrease

Nur-Sultan mayor Altai Kulginov studied the progress of construction of two new city schools, reports citing the official website of the Nur-Sultan administration.

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev at a meeting on development of the capital noted the importance of active involvement of private partners in construction of schools in order to eliminate the lack of places.

Thus, the school, which is being built at the intersection of Sauran and #24 streets, is designed for 1200 seats. The new school will make it possible to remove three-shift education in schools No. 84 and No. 85. As the developer noted, the engineering networks have been built, the roof is ready; finishing work starts next year.

The second place of visit was the school at the intersection of Uly Dala and No. 39 streets. The school is also designed for 1200 seats, which will allow to unload schools No. 59 and No. 76. Now there are the driven piles only. The mayor A. Kulginov noted that it is necessary to increase the pace of construction. It is planned that the construction of two schools will be completed next year.

In 2020, it is planned to complete the construction of 12 schools for 9.5 thousand seats. At the meetings of the city Investment Council, the construction of 18 private schools for 16 thousand seats (including 3 thousand preschool seats) was supported. The amount of investments will exceed 50 billion tenge.
