New square with playgrounds for children with special needs opened in Nur-Sultan
A new park equipped with sports grounds and play areas equipped for children with special needs has been opened in the capital's residential area Promyshlenniy, Almaty district, Kazpravda.kz reports.
According to the official website of the Nur-Sultan akimat, a clean-up event was organized in the micro district on the opening day with the participation of local residents. As a result of the event, 40 pines were planted.
"The park has a fully automated lighting and irrigation system. In addition, there is a sports ground with modern exercise equipment that meets all the requirements of residents. There is also a children's play area," said Aydin Begimbekov, deputy head of the capital's department for environmental protection and natural resource management.
When building the park, we took into account the needs of special children. Special devices for games were installed for them.
As the representative of the department noted, in general, according to the master plan "Nur-Sultan - a comfortable city", there will be more and more such recreation places in the capital. For the convenience of guests and residents of the capital, much attention is paid to the improvement of courtyard areas. This year alone, 150 courtyards and more than 50 public spaces have been improved in the city.
