During his working trip to Turkestan, Nursultan Nazarbayev was shown the Caravan-sarai complex and was briefed on the archaeological findings on the territory of the Azret Sultan reserve-museum, Kazpravda.kz refers to the RK First President’s press service reporting.
Nazarbayev was updated on the projects carried out in execution of the protocol orders of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, given in August this year.
Nazarbayev noted the high construction rates of tourist and urban infrastructure, stressing that the location of the city, as well as its status as one of the most important spiritual centers of the Turkic world, will serve as a future platform for Central Asian integration.
During the presentation, the need to continue the construction of tourism infrastructure and the implementation of transport and logistics projects was noted. Nazarbayev also pointed out the importance of creating a comfortable environment for residents and guests of Turkestan.
In the end he held a media briefing and got acquainted with the museum located in the new visit center of the spiritual capital of Kazakhstan.
