Minister of Internal Affairs congratulated CoES staff on their professional holiday
The Minister of Internal Affairs congratulated the staff of the Committee for Emergency Situations on the Rescuer Day, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Committee for Emergencies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On the eve of the professional holiday of the civil protection system, a meeting was held in the Committee on Emergencies with the participation of Minister of Internal Affairs Yerlan Turgumbayev.
The Minister noted that the most serious incidents, the consequences of which the rescuers eliminated this year, were the explosions in a multi-storey building in Taraz, gas equipment of the Nur-Sultan dairy, explosions in a warehouse with ammunition in the military unit in Arys. They participated in the liquidation of the accident at the Kalamkas oil field in the Mangystau region. They fought with large natural fires in the regions of Kazakhstan, minimized consequences of floods and mudflows in the country.
The heroic actions of CoES staff and citizens in such difficult emergencies were highly noted by the Head of State.
By the decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, 29 most distinguished employees of civil protection bodies were awarded state awards.
For the Rescuer Day, for contribution to the development of the State Civil Protection System, departmental awards of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were awarded to 459 employees and veterans of civil protection bodies, police, civilians, representatives of local executive and other bodies. In addition, 19 employees were assigned early ranks and ranks one level higher.
Departmental awards, letters of appreciation and letters of thanks were also presented to veterans who make a great contribution to the patriotic education of the young generation and preservation of the glorious traditions of rescuers.
