Military field hospital for COVID-19 patients relocated in Almaty

The military field hospital, which was deployed in the village Tlendiev, Almaty region, will be relocated to Almaty. This was reported in the press service of the Defense Ministry of Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz reports.
It has been reported that since the hospital was opened, it has been used as a quarantine hospital. There were cadets of the Military Institute of the Ground Forces. In the hospital, the medical staff of the Ili district hospital worked. It could accommodate 75 people in quarantine at the same time.
"At present, the hospital is redeployed and opened in Almaty as part of the fight against the COVID-19," the Defense Ministry said in response to an official request from the correspondent.
It is noted that the hospital is designed for 66 beds, 60 of which are somatic beds, and six are intensive care beds. The hospital is equipped with x-ray equipment, mechanical ventilators, oxygen tanks. If the hospital is provided with medicines and personal protective equipment, it can be used to provide medical care to patients with coronavirus infection.
Recall that the military field hospital was deployed 30 kilometers from Almaty in April 2020. The hospital was ready to receive patients. It was reported that it has everything necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with coronavirus infection.
