Kulginov demanded construction companies’ abiding by law

The mayor of the capital Altai Kulginov met with representatives of the construction companies of the city and discussed with them issues of compliance with safety requirements at the facilities, responsibility of developers to shareholders, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the capital’s akimat.
First of all, the mayor drew the attention of the developers to non-compliance with safety procedures at construction sites. Often, ignoring all safety rules, workers work without protective hats, shoes.
The mayor also called on the developers to pay wages to employees on time and comply with all the conditions stipulated in labor contracts, without forcing them to go to mass protests.
Another topic brought up was the problem of unloading garbage in unidentified places; 76 drivers were brought to responsibility for littering the roadway. It was proposed to install video surveillance cameras in the most polluted areas with information output to 109 service.
People complain of noise in the nighttime, which is also construction companies’ responsibility. This year, 196 calls came to 102 service. The mayor urged the managers of the facilities to keep the sites clean and equipped so as not to pollute the streets of the capital.
Altai Kulginov reminded the meeting participants of a more responsible approach to working with real estate investors. He said that in the capital there are over 10 thousand equity holders who have suffered from the actions of unscrupulous developers, and called on the developers to support Kazakhstan goods, use domestic construction materials, which in quality can compete with products from other countries.
