Kazakhstan and Turkey will cooperate in the production of drugs against coronavirus, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Health Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"Kazakhstan and Turkey intend to exchange experience on getting out of quarantine, cooperate in the production of medicines for treatment of coronavirus infection, and also localize the production of lung ventilation devices," the ministry said following a short trip of RK Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov and Health Minister Alexei Tsoi to Turkey.
In just a few hours, the Kazakh delegation got acquainted with the work of the district hospital in Manisa, located near Ankara. They studied automation of medical and technological processes, observance of social distancing and sanitary and epidemiological regime.
In addition, the delegation met with the scientific and medical community and the Health Minister of Turkey Fahritin Koca, to discuss the issues of expanding cooperation in the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection.
