Damage in the amount of KZT 776 mln caused to the state by a criminal group from Kyzylorda rgn

An organized criminal group has been detained in Kyzylorda region, causing damage to the state in the amount of 776 million tenge, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Committee for Financial Monitoring of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"The Department of Economic Investigations in the Kyzylorda region, within the framework of the “STOP OBNAL” operational-search measures, suppressed the activities of an organized criminal group, which for a long time was engaged in the issuance of invoices without actually performing work, providing services and shipping goods," the message says.
It is noted that the preliminary amount of damage caused to the state amounted to 776 million tenge.
DEI in the Kyzylorda region launched a pre-trial investigation under Art. 262 p. 1,2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Creation and management of an organized group, criminal organization, as well as participation in them" in relation to the organizer and leader of the group, as well as its members.
