The date of the resumption of the work of cinemas in the capital will depend on the epidemiological situation with COVID-19, as well as on the readiness of cinemas to ensure sanitary and epidemiological safety during movie shows. This was announced by the chief state sanitary doctor of Nur-Sultan Zhanna Pralieva, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the official website of the capital's akimat.
"The Interdepartmental Commission for prevention of the spread of coronavirus infection has decided to resume the work of cinemas with occupancy of up to 30% and respecting the distance, as well as the mask regime. This applies to those regions that are in the "green zone" in terms of incidence. Nur-Sultan is in "the green zone" only for the fourth day, so for 10-12 days we will monitor the situation. If such a situation persists, then we will allow the work of cinemas in the city. Until that time, preparatory work will be carried out," Zhanna Pralieva said.
Also, the capital's cinemas must provide acts of readiness to work in a pandemic. That is, delimiters, markings, sanitizers must be installed in the cinema halls. Personnel must be provided with personal protective equipment. At the entrance to cinemas, visitors and employees must undergo thermometry. In addition, spectators need to wear masks. Seating should be organized to avoid crowding.
