Chief sanitary doctor of Kazakhstan signs resolution on Pfizer vaccine
The chief state sanitary doctor of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Kiyasov, signed a resolution "On further measures to prevent coronavirus infection among the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan" on the Pfizer vaccine, Kazpravda.kz reports.
The resolution approves the methodological recommendations “Vaccination of the population against coronavirus infection with the Komirnati mRNA vaccine (Pfizer, USA) in Kazakhstan.
Akims of the regions were instructed to ensure coordination of activities for the organization and conduct of vaccination against coronavirus infection of adolescents aged 12 to 18, pregnant women and women during lactation.
By November 1, 2021, medical workers must be trained to make vaccination with Komirnati. Until that time, ultra-low temperature freezing equipment will be installed for storing this vaccine.
The resolution comes into force from the date of signing.
