Boat trips to be limited in "dark red" zones of Kazakhstan

The resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor on Transport "On toughening restrictive and quarantine measures at water transport facilities" has been amended, Kazpravda.kz reports.

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection among the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with article 104 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On people's health and health care system" dated July 7, 2020 No. 360-VI ZRK, I DECIDE:

Introduce the following amendments to the Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor on Transport dated July 19, 2021 No. 143 "On toughening restrictive and quarantine measures at water transport facilities":

subparagraph 1) of paragraph 1 shall be stated as follows:

“A ban on operation of water transport (boats, ships, motor ships, ferries and others) used in the field of entertainment and excursion activities on the seas, rivers, lakes, reservoirs in the regions, with the exception of the participants of the “Ashyq” project;

in the regions located in the zone of the critical level of risk ("dark red" zone) on weekends, prohibit the operation of water transport (boats, ships, motor ships, ferries, boats, catamarans, jet skis and others) used in the field of entertainment and recreational excursion activities on the seas, rivers, lakes, reservoirs, including participants in the "Ashyq" project;

subparagraph 2) of paragraph 1 shall be stated as follows:

"Implementation of the "Ashyq" project at water transport facilities and control over the observance of quarantine measures, with an explanation to the owners about the restrictive measures taken to prohibit the operation of water transport used in the field of entertainment and excursion activities.";

Paragraph 2 shall be stated as follows:

"1) ensure compliance with the requirements for implementation and participation in the Ashyq project, in accordance with Appendix 2 of the Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 29, 2021 No. 33 "On implementation of the Ashyq project at business facilities ";

2) when the region moves to the “yellow” zone from the “red” or to the “green” zone from the “yellow”, ensure strict compliance with the requirements, in accordance with Appendices 2, 4 of the Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 29, 2021 No. 33 “On implementation of the "Ashyq" project at business facilities."

2. I reserve control over execution of this resolution.

3. This resolution comes into force from the date of signing.
