Askar Mamin appointed Prime Minister of RK
By the decree of the President, Askar Mamin was appointed Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz refers to the Akorda press service reporting.
Askar Mamin, born October 23, 1965, graduated from the Tselinograd Civil Engineering Institute and the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics.
He headed Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC, held positions of the mayor of Astana and minister of transport and communications.
From September 2016, he was the First Deputy Prime Minister.
In February 2019, he was appointed Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
