From April 26, the Ashyq system, allowing public facilities to resume work, will be applied in all regions of Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz correspondent quotes deputy Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, Asset Turysov, as saying at the CCS briefing.

"Ashyq application has been downloaded by 235 000 users. 619 enterprises and organizations participate in the pilot. These are fitness clubs, yoga centers, spas, swimming pools, computer clubs. Over the past week, 213 infected people have been identified," Asset Turysov said.

According to him, over the entire period of the project, about 560 infected citizens have been identified.

"On behalf of the Government, we plan to launch the Ashyq in all regions from April 26. By this time, all the necessary measures will be taken," Turysov added.

Ashyq is an application for registering visitors in public places. Before entering a public institution, the user scans a special QR code and presents it to the administrator at the entrance. The code determines the status of the visitor

"Red" status is assigned if a person has passed a PCR test for coronavirus and received a positive result. Holders of this status are ordered to observe a strict regime of home isolation.

"Yellow" is assigned to contact persons. They are allowed to go out for groceries or to the pharmacy near the house, but are prohibited from visiting other public places.

"Blue" will mean free movement everywhere, except in places where a PCR test is required (for example, at an airport).

"Green" is a sign of complete freedom of movement.

The QR code is assigned only to business entities.
