Additional doses of COVID-19 vaccine to be delivered to Kazakhstan

8 million additional doses of coronavirus vaccine will be delivered to Kazakhstan. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aleksey Tsoi at a meeting of the Government, Kazpradva.kz reports.
"The ministry has signed contracts for additional supply of 8 million doses for 4 million people. The supply is proceeding according to the schedule. In this regard, the republic has sufficient access to vaccinations for the population," Tsoi said.
According to him, today about 9.4 million doses of the vaccine have been used, 5,480,094 people were vaccinated with the first component, which is 55.4% of the subject population. 3,941,941 people received the second shot, or 39.8% of the subject population.
