FlyArystan Airlines announces the start of ticket sales in the direction of Taraz-Nur-Sultan-Taraz. The cost of tickets starts from 6999 tenge, Kazpravda.kz reports referring to the press service of the RK MIID Civil Aviation Committee.
“Daily flights will be performed from October 3, 2019 on modern 180-seat Airbus A320. The duration of the flight between cities will be less than 90 minutes, while the cost of tickets starts from 6999 tenge per one-way ticket, including airport fees. This is 72% lower compared to competitors on the same route," the report said.
According to the RK MIID CAC, after the start of FlyArystan's operational activities, the passenger flow of Aulie-Ata International Airport increased by more than 140%.
The airline’s press service added that for the first time the low-cost airline flew from Almaty to Taraz on May 1 of this year and managed to transport more than 46,000 passengers in less than 5 months. It is worth noting that 90% of tickets were sold at a cost of less than 10,000 tenge, and about half were sold at a price of less than 5,000 tenge.
It should be noted that earlier the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhenis Kasymbek, at a government meeting, told how they will reduce airfare in Kazakhstan.
Recall, on September 2, the Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev delivered an Address to the people of Kazakhstan at a joint meeting of the chambers of Parliament. The President was indignant at the high cost of airline tickets.
