284 people in Kazakhstan contracted coronavirus

Already 284 Kazakhstanis have contracted
coronavirus, Kazpravda.kz refers to the press service of the Health Ministry of Kazakhstan reporting.
“Another case of coronavirus infection was registered in Aktobe region. To date, 284 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the country, including 167 cases in Nur-Sultan, 70 in Almaty, 7 in Karaganda region, Atyrau region - 12 cases, Akmola region - 6, Zhambyl region - 3, Shymkent - 2, East Kazakhstan region - 2, Almaty region - 6, Aktobe region - 2, North Kazakhstan region - 1 , Pavlodar region - 1, Mangystau region - 1, Kyzylorda region - 2, West Kazakhstan region - 2 cases,” it is stated.
Earlier the first death from coronavirus in Kazakhstan was reported.
Nur-Sultan and Almaty have been on quarantine since March 19.
On March 23, at the meeting of the State Commission on the state of emergency, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ordered to tighten isolation measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
It was decided to introduce additional restrictions in Nur-Sultan and Almaty since March 28.
